What we do

At Fundación porqueViven we help improve the lives of children with incurable diseases and their families by offering comprehensive care that includes physical, psychological, social, and spiritual care. We can’t cure them, but we can care for them, broaden their lives, and create moments of serenity and connection that allow them to live fully.

We know that every family and every story is unique. That’s why, at Fundación porqueViven, we design programs that adapt to the specific needs of each stage of the process, offering the necessary support when it’s most needed.

Our work is organized into four key areas:

Health and psychosocial care

We provide health, psychological, social, and spiritual support from the moment of diagnosis, ensuring personalized home care so families receive the attention they need.

Training and teaching

We promote the specialization of professionals in Pediatric Palliative Care (PPC) and disseminate a vision that values the dignity of life and the importance of every moment lived.

Awareness and dissemination

We support projects that develop new technologies and practices that improve the quality of care and expand opportunities in this area.

Volunteering

We encourage the active participation of committed people who offer close and humane support to families.
